How to Relock BitLocker without Restart


So, Locking your drive with BitLocker is quite easy in windows 10 but relocking it again is not what happens as per expectation i.e. by right click.
In this Blog, you are going to have a look on how to lock again your Bitlocker without restarting your system. So, what you have to do is just follow the below steps.


Say, we want to relock H: drive ,shown unlocked here

Unlocked Drive Example


Step 1 : Open Command Prompt(Admin) in Windows 10 by right clicking on START button.

Step 2: In the command prompt, write the following command
                           
                            👇

            manage-bde -lock H:

Step 3: Just hit Enter and done, the prompt will display that your Volume is now locked.

Now you have done the process without restarting your System.
